Rachel

When facing fear,
the fear that makes men crack inside,
the fear that kills us every day
--and we are far--

a thousand times

You stood your ground …

till fear burned out and disappeared
and you prevailed

Stretch out your hand
and pull us out of this despair

Show us the path
and tell us how you dared to dare

You conquered fear,
the fear that made men crack inside,
and wrote your name, boldly,
into the book of life

You gave us hope …

             Thank you, Rachel
