Dr. Gordon W. Roberts is currently an associate professor in the Department
of Electrical Engineering and the Director of the Microelectronics and Computer
Systems Laboratory (MACS), both at McGill University. Over the years, he
has conducted extensive research on mixed-signal testing issues and analog
integrated circuit design. He has published over 60 papers, co-authored
several text books related to mixed-signal test and analog integrated circuit
design, and contributed 6 chapters to other books. He gives a full one-day
tutorial on mixed-signal test each year at the International Test Conference
to test professionals. He is presently an associate editor of the IEEE Transaction
on Circuits and Systems, Part II, and the editor for the IEEE Design &
Test of Computers Magazine. Prof. Roberts has received numerous department
and faculty awards for teaching electronics to undergraduates, and received
several IEEE awards for his work on mixed-signal testing.
Albert Lu is a Mixed-Signal Design Engineer in the Wireless Communications group at Analog Devices, Wilmington MA. He is currently involved in the development of next generation chip-sets for digital cellular applications. His other interests include discrete-time signal processing using charge-coupled devices (CCD), mixed-signal testing, delta-sigma modulation, and delta-sigma oscillators.
Mr. Lu is a graduate of McGill University (MACS Laboratory) where he
received a Master of Engineering degree in 1994.
