I am currently studying a Ph.D. (Thesis) in Electrical Engineering and working as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Prof. David A. Lowther at the Computational Electromagnetics Lab in McGill University. My research interests include the design and optimization of low-frequency electromagnetic devices, such as rotating and linear electric machines. In 2015, I completed my M.Eng. (Thesis) in Electrical Engineering under the same lab and professor at McGill University. My Master's thesis focused on exploring geometrical design methodologies for Synchronous Reluctance Machines. Previously in 2013, I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering with the Valedictorian award from the American University in Dubai, UAE. Also, I am actively involved as the Webmaster of the IEEE Montreal Section. I used to volunteer for the McGill IEEE Student Branch between 2013 and 2015.
